I had known Henry since the late 50's, before he passed away a couple years ago he told me he wanted me to have this boat. About the same time another friend (Jim) also from the 50's, asked me to keep my eyes open for a good fishing boat. That's how easy it was. We had a great time restoring it and now its good for another 50 years. So if you have a boat or are looking for a boat project please contact me and we will try to get you hooked up.

"It's all about saving Wooden Boats"

"This fishing boat is to nice for worms"

Scrap lumber really helped dressed her up.

The cedar used for the sides is 3/4" x 15"

This is "old growth" lumber, wow ! What a pleasure to work with.

Captain Julius provided the muscle during the restoration. The boat now belongs to his brother Jim at Crooked Lake, Delton Mi.

Captian Julius, making her ready for another 50 years.
