"It's all about saving Wooden Boats"
The 1953 Thompson Sea Skiff was indeed found under a snow pile in Hell, Michigan. It was destined to be burned come springtime 2002. See the restoration by clicking on "1953 Thompson Sea Skiff" in the header above.
Our intention is to develop a site which will provide hope and inspiration to those who have little or no wooden boat restoration experience. "Free" smaller boats in restorable condition can be found and that's where we come in. We will publish suitable"Free" boats which can be completed in your garage or workshop at minimal cost. We hope to provide resources, tips, ideas, suggestions, etc. to make this more than just a rich man's hobby.
As this web site is under developement we look forward to your help, suggestions, content, or link contributions. Your input will help determine the directon and success of this site. Please "bookmark" our site, refer to it often. Please pass the site on to others. We appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Chuck Nagy
